I believe every student can succeed in English with the right support and encouragement. My lessons are friendly, relaxed, and tailored to each individual, whether you’re building confidence in primary school, preparing for GCSEs, or studying English at A-level.
At the start, we’ll chat about your goals and identify your strengths and the areas you’d like to improve. From there, I’ll adapt every lesson to suit your learning style and pace. I know that everyone learns differently, so I aim to explain things in a way that makes sense to you. There’s never any pressure to know all the answers—questions are always welcome!
Depending on your age and level, we can work on reading comprehension, spelling and grammar, creative writing, essay writing, literary analysis, exam preparation, or coursework. For students taking exams, I’ll also share useful revision strategies, exam techniques, and tips on what examiners are looking for to help you achieve your best.
I like to make my lessons interactive and engaging rather than simply talking at you. We’ll work through written examples together, discuss ideas, practise key skills, and review your work with constructive feedback so you can clearly see your progress over time.
As an English Literature and Creative Writing student at the University of Warwick, I’m passionate about helping students grow in both ability and confidence.
