Session format:
1. Welcome & Check-In (5 minutes).
2. Session Purpose & Focus (5 minutes)
• Agree on one or two priority goals for the session.
3. Exploration & Reflection (15 minutes)
•explore the issues (academic, personal, confidence, motivation, wellbeing).
•Identify beliefs, challenges, or habits influencing the situation.
•Encourage self-awareness and articulation of thoughts.
4. Insight & Strategy Development (15 minutes)
•Help the student generate options and possible solutions.
•Discuss strengths, resources, and past successes they can draw on.
•Introduce practical tools if helpful (time-management, decision-making, values clarification).
5. Goal Setting & Action Plan (10 minutes)
•Co-create a clear, achievable action plan.
•Define specific goals, timelines, and steps the student will take before the next session.
•Confirm how progress will be measured.
6. Support & Accountability (5 minutes)
•Discuss what support the student needs (internal and external).
•Set expectations for follow-up.
7. Session Reflection & Close (5 minutes)
