Hello and welcome!
I am an experienced online tutor in Law, Philosophy, English, and Greek, with over ten years of university teaching and private tutoring experience. My lessons are interactive, structured, and adapted to each learner’s goals—whether that’s passing an exam, improving writing, developing critical thinking, or building language fluency.
My academic background includes an LLB, LLM, and PhD in Law, and an MA in Philosophy. I have taught at leading institutions including Queen Mary University of London and King’s College London, as well as overseas, such as Central China Normal University, the University of Cyprus, and Ctl Eurocollege in my sunny hometown. My research and teaching expertise spans over Public International Law, Jurisprudence, Human Rights, and Social & Political Philosophy. As Module Leader, both in undergraduate and postgraduate courses, I have designed and taught Contract Law, Tort Law, Public Law, Equity and Trusts, Consumer Law, International Human Rights Law, International Commercial / Trade Law, International Commercial Arbitration Law, International Business and Legal Ethics at the MBA, and Corporate Law. Alongside teaching, I regularly mentor law students and provide detailed feedback on essays, dissertations, and theses.
In Philosophy, I specialise in Ethics, Bioethics, Philosophy of Law, and Social & Political Philosophy, with additional experience in Epistemology and Metaphysics. I guide students through complex material while also supporting them with essay writing and argumentation skills.
As a CELTA-qualified English tutor, I have taught at international schools and universities, designing and delivering both general and specialist English courses, such as English for Law, Business, and Economics. Today, I work with teenagers and adults, preparing them for exams like IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, and GCSE, as well as helping with academic and professional writing.
I also tutor Greek, supporting both learners who wish to improve their language skills and those preparing for the official Greek language exams required for Greek or Cypriot citizenship.
My approach is informed by my expertise in pedagogy. I attended the Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Academic Practice, have been formally observed in my teaching by qualified instructors and received consistently positive feedback. I am proud to be a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy from Queen Mary University. These experiences have strengthened my ability to design engaging lessons, use inclusive teaching methods, and adapt to different learning styles.
Above all, I focus on the individual needs of each learner. Some are preparing for professional exams, others want to develop writing or critical analysis, and many simply want to expand their knowledge and confidence. Whatever your goals, I will work with you to build a clear, supportive, and motivating path to success.
