My lessons are dynamic, process-driven, and tailored to unlock your unique creative voice. I bridge the gap between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary innovation, ensuring every session is both concepts-rich and highly practical.
The Lesson Format:
We will typically follow a structured, three-part framework designed for maximum growth:
The Spark- (10 mins): A quick deep-dive analysis of a contemporary artist, movement, or visual problem to ignite inspiration.
The Making- (40 mins): Intensive, hands-on studio practice. I provide real-time feedback on technique, composition, and material execution. Following you along
The Critique- (10 mins): A supportive, reflective review to articulate your ideas and map out clear next steps.
However, Lessons can be catered towards different preferences and working styles. I believe no two people ever access their creativity in the same exact way and so I will adapt our lessons according to what actually helps you creatively thrive and progress.
Content & Dynamics:
Whether exploring traditional painting, mixed media, or editorial design, my lessons focus on layered storytelling and creative risk-taking. We balance technical skill—like expressive mark-making and composition—with digital innovation, grounding your work in relevant contemporary art and culture.
