About me

I use an interactive and engaging approach, derived from my drama and acting training, to help students to engage with difficult texts, such as Shakespeare. I have grade 9s in both GCSE English Literature and English Language, with 40/40 marks on some of my mock essays. I also have an A* in A Level Drama and Theatre Studies, a 2.1 in Acting CERT HE and am midway through a degree in playwriting. I...
I use an interactive and engaging approach, derived from my drama and acting training, to help students to engage with difficult texts, such as Shakespeare. I have grade 9s in both GCSE English Literature and English Language, with 40/40 marks on some of my mock essays. I also have an A* in A Level Drama and Theatre Studies, a 2.1 in Acting CERT HE and am midway through a degree in playwriting. I have experience tutoring with primary age children, but my passion and strength lies with the GCSE bracket. I am neurodiverse myself, so am confident working with other ND students, and will allow for small rest breaks within sessions. I also hold an extended DBS certificate.
