Hi, my name is Chloe, I'm a 21 year old student and I love to teach! I'm currently an undergraduate going into my third year studying Mathematics and Computer Science. I have faced multiple barriers to learning that I've managed to overcome and I enjoy supporting others to do the same. I really like studying both my own course and other subjects, I also love to dance, walk my dog and spend time with family and friends. I've tutored from more casual settings, tutoring my younger brother or friends, to more professional settings in the workplace. I worked with a company last year teaching ages 7-11 across multiple subjects in groups or one-to-one. I also taught one-to-one sessions with GCSE age students. I am currently employed with Smart Education, focusing on home tutoring for young people facing barriers to education. I have a lot of experience regarding neurodiversity. Having ADHD myself I also have a lot of personal familiarity facing difficulties to learning and have a lot of workaround tips. I place a lot of importance in centring the student. Everyone learns differently and I am consistent in evaluating which methods are providing sustainable and desirable outcomes. I also believe in fostering good intrinsic motivation, both for education and for student welfare. I'm quite flexible with my hours (although these are likely to change when term time and university starts in September) so feel free to contact me whenever :)
