I'm an Alevel student who recently achieved Grade 9's in both my English Language and English Literature GCSE and full marks in my coursework, so I have very up to date knowledge on how succeed in English GCSE.
My English lessons are designed to help students feel more confident in both their understanding of the subject and their ability to express their ideas clearly. I focus on essay writing, reading comprehension, grammar, literature analysis, and critical thinking, while making lessons engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. Whether a student is preparing for exams, struggling with certain topics, coursework or simply wanting to improve their overall English skills, I adapt lessons to suit their goals and learning style.
I believe English is more than just memorising techniques but it’s about learning how to communicate ideas, understand different perspectives, and develop confidence in your own voice. In lessons, we might analyse texts together, break down essay structures step by step, practise answering questions, or work on improving vocabulary and written expression. I always aim to explain things in a clear and approachable way so students never feel overwhelmed or afraid to ask questions.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and interactive. I want students to feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them, because that’s where real progress happens. I also try to make lessons enjoyable and relatable by connecting ideas to real-life examples and discussions. Above all, my goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel supported, motivated, and capable of reaching their full potential in English.
