I like to keep my lessons clear, friendly and focused on what the student actually needs. I achieved an A* in A-level Mathematics and a Grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics, so I understand the subject well and know what is needed to succeed in exams. I also understand that every student learns differently, so I always try to explain things in a simple way first, then build up step by step.

In my lessons, I usually start by checking what the student already knows and where they feel stuck. After that, I explain the topic using simple examples before moving on to practice questions. I like to work through questions together first, then let the student try independently while I guide them when needed. This helps me see whether they truly understand the topic or only remember the method.
I try to make lessons interactive and comfortable. I always encourage students to ask questions, even if they think the question is simple. I am patient and happy to explain the same idea in different ways until it makes sense. I believe that mistakes are a normal part of learning, so I try to create a calm environment where students do not feel embarrassed when they get something wrong.
As a university student, I understand the pressure of studying, exams and deadlines. Because of this, I can also give practical advice on revision methods, time management and exam preparation. I am organised, reliable and always try to prepare properly before each lesson, so the time is used effectively.
Overall, my teaching style is supportive, patient and structured. I want students to leave each lesson feeling that they have improved, understood something better, and know what to practise next.
