I am experienced in tutoring students of all abilities and with my abilities and teaching skills, I am ready to simplify and make easy difficult aspects of the language.
As a teacher I employ the use of language teaching methodologies such as the direct method, audio-lingual method (the use of recorded materials where the student can listen to and learn from interactive activities) as well as the task based language learning approach. The teaching methodologies are not limited to the ones mentioned above but are also determined by the learner's needs.
The contents of the lessons are based on the student's learning needs which will be decided on after an evaluation session or if the student is preparing for a particular examination. Emphasis is usually on making students comfortable to use the language (for new learners or beginners). I am focused on helping students understand the four aspects of English language, reading- writing- listening- speaking and their mastery (for intermediate or advanced English language users)
All lessons are friendly and easy to assimilate because I am conversant with the challenges faced by language learners and having an unfriendly atmosphere would only make it difficult for the English language learner.
Anything to eliminate the tension of learning a language and to build the confidence of the learners, who can go on to use English either for professional use or day to day communication with other English Language speakers.
I also have experience in preparing students for examinations like IELTS and TOEFL.
