I am a public teacher in the Philippines. I have been teaching mathematics for four years now. My learners are from Junior High School. Since it is a face-to-face discussion, my strategy in teaching is " I do, we do, you do". I first introduce to them the lesson and execute on how to perform and solve it, the peer teaching or group discussion/activity, after that individual activity. Recently, I worked as an ESL teacher in Vietnam. I taught multi-levels of students ages from 3 years old to young professionals. During the teacher performance evaluation, some of my students rate me 5 stars.
Each lesson lasts 25 or 50 minutes, depending on your chosen class. A 25-minute lesson includes a short greeting, the main topic, speaking practice, and feedback. A 50-minute lesson allows more time for explanations, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, interactive activities, and conversation practice. Every lesson is designed to be fun, engaging, and easy to understand. I use simple explanations, examples, and fun activities to help you understand better. After that, we practice together through questions and conversations. My goal is to help you improve your English skills at your own pace in a friendly and comfortable learning environment. At the end of the lesson, I give feedback and helpful tips to help you improve. My passion in teaching helps me become more patient and understanding to students with different learning styles. I personalized my lessons that is suitable to the needs of my students. I make sure every student feels comfortable, confident, and motivated to learn English.
