I am currently an final year undergraduate student pursuing a BSc in Medical Biosciences at Imperial College London and have received an offer to continue with an MRes in Biomedical Research at Imperial College London. I also sought opportunities to participate in two different ongoing research studies related to infection which helped me develop my lab techniques and skills. Moreover, my work was presented in the 2025 Microbiology Society Annual Conference which is an international scientific programme. I also received awards for my two summer projects and attending the conference. I hold A-Levels in Mathematics (A), Biology (A), Physics (A*), Chemistry (A*), and Chinese (A*). With this strong academic foundation, I am well-prepared to tutor students in biology and related subjects, helping them excel both in theoretical knowledge and practical application.
What I will do for my class 1 - Provide pre-session materials for students who wish to explore new topics in advance. 2 - Deliver engaging lessons using slides that explain the pre-session materials, combined with interactive activities (e.g., Kahoot) to help solidify what students have learned. 3 - Assign meaningful tasks that allow students to apply what they learned in class and integrate prior knowledge. 4 - Offer constructive suggestions for improvement to support continuous learning and growth. 5 - Explain past exam papers to help students prepare effectively for exams and improve their test-taking skills 6 - In addition, I incorporate activities that mimic real-world laboratory experiments to help students develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience, even outside the lab.
