I’m an MSc Psychology student at the University of Exeter with a BSc in Neurobiology from a competitive pre-med programme. I studied Chemistry, Biology and Physics at A level (CIE), so I know what it takes to do well in the sciences.
At the University of Cincinnati I was a Supplemental Review Session leader and Group Review Session tutor, helping students through college-level Physics. I also mentored and tutored high school students with Refuge Cincy, many of whom were adapting to a new education system and language.
My sessions would be friendly, relaxed and focused on understanding, not memorising. We start by finding out what you already know and where things stop making sense. I then explain concepts in plain language, using diagrams and real-life examples, before working through exam-style questions together. You’ll try problems yourself first, and I’ll guide you rather than hand over answers. I’ll also show you how to structure answers and avoid common exam mistakes. I like making review sheets, practice papers for testing yourself, and flashcards for active recall.I am a patient, encouraging tutor who adapts to your pace and goals, whether you’re catching up, aiming for top grades or just want to feel less anxious about your content knowledge. Mistakes are completely normal in my lessons, because that’s how we learn.
Message me to arrange a trial lesson and tell me what you’d like to work on!
