My lessons are designed to be engaging, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual level and learning goals. I combine clear explanations of grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure with practical exercises and conversation practice, ensuring that students can immediately apply what they learn. I like to incorporate real-life examples, cultural insights, and authentic materials such as articles, videos, or short texts to make lessons both relevant and interesting.
I encourage students to actively participate, ask questions, and express themselves in German, building their confidence alongside their language skills. Each session includes a balance of explanation, practice, and feedback, and I adapt my teaching style to suit different learning preferences, that is, whether a student is more visual, auditory, or enjoys interactive exercises.
With experience tutoring beginners in German and assisting with language and culture workshops for primary and secondary students, I understand how to make learning accessible and enjoyable. I also draw on my year abroad in Germany, using real-world examples of German language and culture to enrich lessons. My aim is to help students achieve tangible progress while enjoying the learning process.
I also focus on setting achievable goals and tracking progress, so students can see their improvement over time. Lessons are flexible and can include preparation for exams, conversational practice, or support with homework and written exercises. I aim to create a positive and encouraging environment where mistakes are part of learning and students feel confident experimenting with the language. Ultimately, my goal is to make German enjoyable, practical, and rewarding for every learner.
