As your tutor, I aim to keep the tutoring sessions as fun and engaging as possible. The common goal for us both is to help you progress and achieve the best grade possible, I don't want to bore you or cause you any additional stress. I aim to be a support network and a safe space for you to share your educational struggles. Before we start tutoring, I will need to know which exam board your school uses, and if there are any areas of psychology in particular you are struggling with that we can focus on. It's important to remember that although I have done a degree in Psychology I may need to refresh my knwoledge of certain topics, so if possible please provide an essential topic list given by your teacher or exam board as this will ensure I am covering everything you need to know to succeed in your tutoring lessons. I understand going to a tutor isn't what you probably want to do however when I was at school I had a tutor for my biology A-level and she was really helpful and achieved a really high grade in the end, this is what I hope to do with yourself. I chose to study for a degree in Psychology at University as I really liked the subject and I am aiming to do a doctorate in Clinical Psychology in the near future. I really do enjoy the subject and hope to help you to share the same feelings about the subject.
