Hello! My name is Charlotte and I recently graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in Modern Languages (French; 2.1). For my A Levels, I studied English literature, chemistry, biology and French, and I received 11 A* at GCSE including maths, triple science and physics. I would love to pass on my knowledge and study tips to other students, whether they are aiming for Cs or straight A*s. No matter what their goals are, I want to help students achieve them, whilst making lessons fun and interesting!
Rather than lecturing students for an hour, I prefer lessons to be interactive; therefore I will encourage them to ask questions. Usually, I aim to use a range of resources, such as videos, articles and drawings in order to aid understanding and make lessons engaging. However, if students prefer different teaching methods, I am very happy to adapt to whichever style suits them the best! Importantly, I am very patient and will be more than happy to re-explain if students don't understand a topic or a concept straight away.
The subjects I teach include (but are not limited to) GCSE and A Level biology, chemistry, English language and literature, and French. I also tutor English as a second language. Whether you would like focused exam preparation, or you're a student who would simply like a more in depth understanding of a certain topic, I am able to help. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to shoot me a message!
