About me

My experience as a secondary school teacher and as a private tutor means that I can provide an adaptable and personable approach to teaching. I have worked with home educated students as well as students with special educational needs including autism and ADHD.

My experience as a secondary school teacher and as a private tutor means that I can provide an adaptable and personable approach to teaching. I have worked with home educated students as well as students with special educational needs including autism and ADHD.

In our first lesson, I will look at identifying weak areas through a conversation with my tutee and a short test. I will then use this to inform my future planning of lessons.
Exam question practice is essential for developing confidence and competence in A Level Chemistry, so these will feature in every lesson and be set for homework. I will also provide regular practice of basic level skills where required, as these are essential in order to understand trickier concepts.
