Hi, I'm Charlie! I'm studying MEng Engineering at Peterhouse, University of Cambridge, and I'm passionate about making tricky concepts click.
I achieved AAA*A at A Level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics - so I know exactly what examiners are looking for and how to get there. But more than results, I genuinely love the subjects I teach. There's something brilliant about the moment a student goes from "I don't get it" to "oh, that's actually really satisfying", and that's what I'm here for.
My approach is patient and practical. I'll always show you why something works, not just how to do it. Whether that's linking a physics concept to something real-world, or breaking down a tricky proof step by step. I've recently completed an engineering placement where I had to explain complex technical ideas clearly to different teams, and I bring that same clarity to tutoring.
I tailor each session to you. Some students need solid foundations rebuilt; others are chasing those final marks that separate an A from an A*. Either way, we'll work at your pace, focusing on the areas that make the biggest difference - and I'll give you the exam techniques that turn understanding into results.
Outside of studying, I'm active in Cambridge's sports and societies - so I promise sessions won't be dry!
