About me

My lessons are a combination of live lecture and discussion, I like to keep my students engaged and stimulated throughout and to effectively gage how well they are digesting the concepts then and there so I can address and explain further. I typically include a series of tasks or questions. I typically encourage personal note taking. But it depends on the subject and student as to how it will go....
My lessons are a combination of live lecture and discussion, I like to keep my students engaged and stimulated throughout and to effectively gage how well they are digesting the concepts then and there so I can address and explain further. I typically include a series of tasks or questions. I typically encourage personal note taking. But it depends on the subject and student as to how it will go. I like to work quite creatively and can adapt my mode to the needs of the student on the specific day (as moods and requirements vary). I think this is one of the benefits of bespoke one to one learning and I like to think my instinctive ability to do this easily is one of the factors that makes me so successful.

I have a broad and extensive range of tutoring and educational experience. I have worked as a home-school teacher and mentor, in residential positions, online and in-person. I am able to work with any age group and enjoy adapting my process to the age differences. I have worked with companies such as Burberry and The Four Seasons, training adult learners to pass their certification exams. I have worked with a number of high profile families both tutoring and providing home school education over many years, proving both a high quality of results, overall mentoring and experience. I have worked with many students to attain grades, school entrances and overall grade improvement. I take a lot of pride in subject satisfaction and enjoyment and I try to keep our sessions light and as interesting as possible, while always trying to keep just the right degree of pressure.
