Charlie

I am a University of Cambridge graduate from the Master's of Architecture & Urban Design program. I have worked internationally as an educator; teaching undergraduate classes at Cambridge on portfolio development and research technique, and also coordinating the Design Thinking curriculum at UWC ISAK Japan. In addition to teaching I have worked in admissions at the University of Cambridge, interviewing prospective students and assessing their research proposals for both originality and academic value. In my teaching I synthesize my experience as a designer and knowledge of the university admissions system to provide you with comprehensive advice on how to optimally present yourself as a prospective student - both academically and personally. Previous students I have worked with to improve their portfolio and personal presentation skills have gone on to join the University of Cambridge and a variety of prestigious London universities from University College London to the Royal College of Art.

I have tutored for over 15 years, with an enormous range of students from all over the world. I have consistently been able to work with my students to achieve their goals, whether that is getting into their first choice university or improving their grades at an undergraduate, postgraduate, or even PhD level. I also teach in a number of universities including the University of Cambridge, University College London, the Royal College of Art, and many more, so I work to embed my experience and knowledge of the UK education system into my teaching.

I've been passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge for many years, it brings me real joy to witness my students go on to achieve great things inside and outside of academia.
