Hello! I’m Charlie— a friendly, patient, and positive tutor offering personalised lessons in English as a Foreign Language, English Literature, and Music for learners of all ages. I believe that everyone learns differently, and my teaching is centred on understanding you as an individual — your goals, interests, and the way you learn best.

Before starting any tutoring programme, I take the time to get to know you (or your child) so that I can design bespoke lessons that are engaging, enjoyable, and aligned with your specific objectives or relevant curricula. Whether that’s building confidence in English conversation, preparing for exams, improving writing and comprehension skills, or developing musical understanding and performance, it's covered here.

My lessons are free from judgement and focus on creating a supportive, encouraging environment where you can feel comfortable to make mistakes, ask questions, and grow. I will always challenge my students to reach their potential, but in a way that feels constructive and motivating, never overwhelming.

I combine clear explanations, creative exercises, and interactive practice to help make learning both effective and enjoyable. For younger learners, I use stories, games, and music to bring subjects to life; for adults, I tailor sessions to professional, academic, or personal goals.
