I teach by breaking complex biological concepts into simple, understandable steps using clear explanations, diagrams, real-world examples, and interactive questions. I encourage active participation, critical thinking, and regular practice to build confidence, deepen understanding, and improve academic performance.
I have previously tutored grade 8 learners on general science and set up learning frameworks to simplify the work and help with retaining the information easier, like making mnemonics and drawing diagrams and pictures to help with understanding. Understanding the work is a gateway to remembering the work.
Getting to know the students is also a very important thing because not all students study in the same manner, therefore a personalized study plan needs to be set up to gain the best end results and ensure that time is not wasted.
Studying does not have to be boring, it can be fun and when it is fun that is when you learn the most.
Drawing pictures and visualizing the concepts are very important and making notes colorful helps with memory and association. Therefore we will be drawing lots of pictures and having lots of fun! I will be using real life examples to also better generalize the concepts and help keep the attention of the learner by making the concepts interesting, while broadening the general knowledge. In other words killing two birds with one stone!
I am looking forward to meeting all the students that I can help secure their future by doing my part in helping them study and understand the concepts.
