My lessons are structured, engaging and fully tailored to each student’s goals, confidence level and exam board. I focus on building strong foundations first, then rapidly developing exam technique using the exact methods that helped me achieve 4 A*s at A-Level and win the Economics World Prize.
Each session follows a clear, supportive format. We begin with a quick diagnostic warm-up to identify what the student already understands and where the gaps are. I then teach concepts using simple explanations, real examples and visual notes that make even the hardest topics feel manageable. Students often tell me my explanations finally make things “click”.
From there, we move straight into targeted practice. I use topic-by-topic past papers, examiner commentary and mark-scheme breakdowns to show students how to think like an examiner, structure answers properly, and avoid the common mistakes that cost marks. My lessons are active and conversational — I ask guiding questions, model high-scoring responses, and help students build confidence through repetition and clarity.
I also share my own revision strategies, checklists and memory techniques, many of which I developed when tutoring internationally and supporting students with diverse learning styles, including ESL and neurodivergent learners. My tutoring experience spans GCSE and A-Level students across Economics, Maths and related subjects, and I have a strong track record of helping students jump multiple grade boundaries.
Above all, my lessons are very friendly, motivating and genuinely enjoyable. My aim is simple: to help every student feel confident, well-prepared and proud of their progress.
