My strategy has come from many years of experience in teaching Spanish. I am going to share with you the 3 fast and actionable strategies I use to start helping students achieve a 7 or above in Spanish.
Locate gaps:
1) Do tests in each of the areas of Spanish GCSE: Listening, Reading, Writing and
Speaking.
2) Make a note of which areas/question types were harder or lower scoring.
3) Focus revision time on these areas.
Target & Improve:
1) Collect samples of the questions they find harder.
2) Break these questions down into a step-by-step formulaic approach.
3) Practise this step-by-step approach.
Practise for success:
1) Find some past papers of the same (or a similar) format.
2) Practise working through the papers in exam conditions.
3) Use mnemonics or memory techniques to help remember the methods.
