My lessons are interactive, flexible, and tailored to meet each student’s needs. I usually start by checking in on what you’re currently learning in class or identifying areas where you feel less confident. From there, we break larger topics into smaller, manageable pieces, using a mix of discussion, reading, and practice questions to make the material clear and memorable. I aim to bring history to life by connecting past events to modern issues, encouraging you to think critically about changes over time, and helping you develop strong essay-writing and source-analysis skills.
I have experience teaching English to two girls (ages 4 and 10) while working as a nanny in Paris and volunteering to read with children who struggled with confidence and reading skills in school. These roles taught me patience, creativity, and how to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles. Every student learns best in a supportive and encouraging environment, so I strive to balance structured guidance with opportunities for curiosity and questions. My goal is to help you gain confidence, succeed academically, and understand history not just as a collection of facts to memorise, but as a meaningful story that connects us all.
I can adapt to a range of ages/topics.
