My lessons don't follow a fixed syllabus. Instead, they're shaped around your target score, your specific needs, and how you personally like to learn. No two students get the same lesson plan.

My teaching philosophy is simple: understand the logic first, then practice until it feels natural. Before diving into drills, I make sure you actually understand why something works the way it does, whether that's a grammar rule, an essay structure, or a speaking strategy. Once that clicks, we practice it repeatedly until it becomes second nature.

In each lesson, I break down what the exam actually requires, set clear learning objectives, and map out small, manageable steps toward your goal. From there, it's a steady cycle of practice and feedback: you try, I give honest and specific input, and we refine together. Progress happens gradually, but consistently.

Above all, my teaching style is learner-focused. You're at the center of every lesson, not a syllabus or a textbook. There's no pressure and no judgment, just space to actually enjoy learning and using English. I believe confidence grows faster in a relaxed environment than a stressful one.

I scored 8.5 in IELTS myself and have tutored students through the exam before, so I understand both the marking criteria and what it genuinely feels like to prepare for it. I'm also currently doing my Master's at the University of Manchester, using English daily in a professional, multinational setting.

Sessions are available online or in person in Manchester depending on the location, with a flexible schedule.
