I usually use a playful and interactive approach that adapts to different learning styles and ages. By adapting teaching to the needs and preferences of students, it can help ensure that they enjoy and actively engage in the process of learning Spanish. Therefore, in addition to the necessary linguistic competencies for effective language learning, I include special dynamics such as:

Songs and games: Songs are an excellent way to introduce vocabulary and basic phrases to younger children, while games can be a fun way to practice vocabulary and grammar. Games can also motivate higher level students and help develop motor and cognitive skills while learning.

Conversation and role-playing: Older students can benefit from practicing conversations in Spanish and role-playing, allowing them to apply their knowledge of grammar and vocabulary in practical contexts. It is also important to include auditory comprehension, so I use Spanish audiovisual material to support this.

Reading and writing: Reading and writing are essential skills for learning a new language. Older students can start with simple readings and writing small stories and sentences in Spanish. Younger students can start with illustrations, writing basic words and simple sentences.

Feedback and positive reinforcement: It is important to provide feedback and positive reinforcement to motivate students to keep learning. By encouraging students to practice and apply what they have learned in real-life situations, their confidence in speaking and understanding Spanish can be fostered.
