Hi there ! Bonjour !

Native French teacher, I am living in the beautiful South of France, near Perpignan where I teach at the university and for my own. Originally, I come from the city of Lyon.

I have a master's degree in languages teaching, and previously I studied Spanish and English: I love languages !

Let me tell a bit more about my lessons:

I really adapt my class towards the needs of my students. I teach from the very beginner level to advanced speakers. In fact, we start with a quick conversation so that I can check your level and then we discuss together the goals of our lessons.

In general, during 1 hour, I like to explore phonetics, grammar and speaking. It is also possible to do a 1:30 hour class. Also, I can help you preparing official exams.

Candice is an intelligent, sensitive teacher, who has boosted my confidence enormously. Now I make more effort to learn French and am sharing with her a French book I am reading, by Michel Serres. Its good to have apparent contradictions such as ‘vaincre’ applying to winners and losers, explained, and that «Fine beaks» are not necessarily found on birds. Candice has a good sense of humour. She is professional, modest, reliable and well organised. I wish I had met her years ago.

We have had French lessons with Candice over 4 years. Lessons have been interesting and stimulating. She makes excellent choices of materials and engages her students in a lively manner. As a teacher she is a 'natural' she uses all the teaching techniques flawlessly. We really enjoy our lessons and cannot recommend her highly enough
