Are you wanting to improve your exam technique? Or is it the content you are struggling with? Or is it a mixture of the two? Usually, we are told to 'do past papers' or 'read the textbook,' and while these can be effective, they seem a bit vague and make us ask the question 'where to start?'. In my lessons, I give a complete guide on how to answer this question, and how to revise different aspects of your course. For example, I will show how I have used past papers to find areas of weakness, and inform future revision. This method is tried and tested, as it has helped me achieve ten 9's at GCSEs last year, and AAAA in my end of Year 12 exams this year.
I am also equally happy to cover any areas of content that you are struggling with, and will explain it in an easy to understand, clear way. Classmates have always asked me plenty of questions about the content throughout my time in education, so answering such questions is nothing new for me!
As your tutor, I value your input, so will send out a 5 minute Microsoft form for you to complete before our session. This will ask a few questions, such as which exam board you use so I can best tailor my tuition to suit you. However, I will also have a quick chat at the beginning of the session about what you are wishing to get out of my tuition and how you study best to ensure you can get the most out of our sessions. Additionally, I always welcome feedback, so if you have any ideas about how I can improve as a tutor either during or after our sessions, then please share your ideas with me!
