¡Hola! My name is Caleb. I'm a native Spanish speaker from Medellín, Colombia, and I'm excited to be your guide on your Spanish learning journey. My goal is to get you speaking confidently and naturally, and to do that, I've designed my lessons to be as engaging, practical, and personalized as possible.

What are my lessons like?
I believe that language is a tool for connection, so our lessons are built around communication. Forget boring drills and memorization. Instead, we'll focus on real, interactive conversation from day one.

Lesson Format & Dynamics:

Our lessons are structured but flexible, always centered on your needs. A typical 60-minute session looks like this:

Warm-up Chat (5-10 mins): We'll start with a casual conversation in Spanish about your day, your week, or your interests. This helps you get comfortable and immediately start thinking in Spanish.

Goal-Oriented Topic (30-40 mins): This is the core of our lesson. Based on your goals, we might:

Discuss a short article, a YouTube video, or a song that I've shared with you beforehand.

Role-play a real-life scenario, like ordering at a restaurant, asking for directions, or checking into a hotel.

Work through a specific grammar point that you're struggling with, but always by using it in practical examples and conversation, not just filling out worksheets.

Review & New Vocabulary (10 mins): I'll provide gentle corrections throughout our conversation. At the end of the lesson, we'll review any new words or phrases we learned. I'll share these with you in a document after class so you can review them anytime.

Wrap-up & Next Steps (5 mins): We'll summarize what we accomplished and set a small, fun goal for the next lesson.

The dynamic is always relaxed and supportive. My classroom is a "mistake-friendly zone"—mistakes are proof that you are learning and trying! My number one priority is to build your confidence.
