Caitlin Oldham

I have just completed my BA in Spanish, German, Translation, and Interpreting and I am due to graduate with first-class honours. During my course, I spent a year studying in Spain and Germany. I have gathered a great deal of insight into the Spanish language and culture which I would love to share with you! I have held Spanish lessons for family and friends and have thus developed my own teaching style. On the whole, I structure my lessons into an overview of the topic of the lesson, followed by practical tasks which we can complete together, and finally links to useful resources and some small homework tasks to complete before the next lesson. Each lesson includes a recap of the previous lesson to consolidate learning before tackling new content. While I tend to cover general language topics, I am happy to adapt parts of the lessons to your interests and areas you wish to develop. Just let me know! I have experience in teaching people from a wide range of age groups and backgrounds through my job as a swimming teacher and I am able to consider the individual needs of my students.
