Hello, I am Bruno, I am 19 and I am currently studying international business in Sussex University, Brighton. Prior to attending Sussex, I attended Oakham school where I pursued the international Baccalaureate (IB). Spanish was one of the subjects I was learning there at higher level. I earned the Spanish as an additional language reward which made me enthusiastic about improving and giving the best of me everyrtime. I studied Spanish for 5 years being able to improve the grammar and my fluency every day.
Due to my interest in languages, I decided to enrol in 2 spanish courses at EF language center. In June 2022 I held the first course in Malaga, Spain, where I gained the B2 advanced certificate. In July 2023 I conducted the second course in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, where I earned the C1.1 certification.
I spent three weeks in Mexico in august 2023, where I was able to experience a new culture while also improving my ability to speak fluent Spanish expanding my vocabulary.
These courses and the trip to Mexico helped me improving my fluency being able to carry on entire conversations with native speakers. I was also able to adapt to various accents and expressions because to my travels to three whole distinct Spanish-speaking countries.
My biggest passion is traveling. I am 19 years old, and I have currently visited 5 continents. All of these trips made me the person I am today, being open-minded, energetic, outgoing and used to different cultures and traditions.
I volunteered for one academic year at the Phab Rutland disabled Youth Forum, where I taught disadvantaged kids spanish. My confidence in patiently teaching large groups of kids has increased as a result of this experience.
Outside of the classroom I am involved in MUN and was able to go to Dubai in November 2021 to represent Ukraine, where I met a range of people with different mindsets. Here the value of being able to communicate in different languages became clear to me as it opens wider opportunities and encourages me to think and act differently.
I currently speak 3 languages: Italian, English and Spanish.

I did 4 lessons with Bruno for an upcoming exam. He was really helpful. We did conversations and I was able to practice Spanish with someone fluent. He is really outgoing and available. Would recommend him!!
