Bruna De Sousa Moreira

I am a passionate and dedicated second language teacher, combining great cultural understanding and high linguistic proficiency to deliver classes where students can thrive. With a natural curiosity for different cultures and languages, I moved to England at 16 years old, where I had the opportunity to study, work and live in a multicultural environment. My personal and professional experiences made me realise the transformative power of effective communication and were the reason for my passion for learning and teaching languages. I am committed to sharing this passion with others and motivating them to improve their own communication skills. My teaching journey started in 2020, when I completed my TEFL qualification. With a background in business management, I have been teaching adults from a variety of different industries to improve their business speaking skills. I have also taught general English topics to students of all ages on a 1 to 1 basis, as well as group classes. I strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment, where students feel empowered to express themselves in a second language. My classes are mostly made up of student talking time, through a combination of interactive activities, real-world scenarios, and cultural exploration. I hope to inspire my students to embark on a linguistic adventure, breaking down barriers and building bridges of understanding in an increasingly interconnected world.
