Brigette Mcnaughton

Qualified Teacher with 15+ years experience. I have excellent communication skills and have taught from young children through to adults. Having learnt languages myself I have a great insight into language acquisition. My method is one of fun in a relaxed atmosphere where students feel at ease to make mistakes, learn, grow in confidence and develop in their language skills. Being experienced I am adept at tailoring lessons for individual needs. I have not taught a student that has never made progress and most often they are quite amazed at how much progress that have made and how quickly. I love life long learning and therefore have worked in industry: Export Marketing, Banking, Asset Finance, etc. I have a degree in BA Hons European Business Studies, a Software Engineering diploma as well as exams and work experience in the Cyber Security field. I have worked and lived in several countries including France, Albania and Ukraine and I am very well travelled. I have also done voluntary work in both Africa and Zambia. An amazing and humbling experience. Most recently I was working with refugees teaching ESOL through music and this was an excellent way for the students to integrate and feel at ease whilst learning.
