Throughout my education, this teaching format has proven to work out well for effective results.
1. Learning objectives outlined - what is aimed to be achieved.
2. Keeping it simple: step-by-step process for better understanding.
3. Methodology or procedure - use of specific learning activity to achieve results.
4. Student understanding assessment.
5. Realistic timeline to achieve result.

These processes, well taught through is a sure way to excellently read, write and speak the English Language.
Any English Language tests could be approached and get done with much confidence.
