Hello!
My name is Blessing, and I am a passionate Literature tutor with over thirteen years of combined experience in teaching and educational assessment. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Studies and a Master’s degree in Literature-in-English.
I currently serve as a Senior Test Officer for Literature-in-English at the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB), an A-Level examination body. My role involves assessment development, question setting, and evaluation, which has given me strong expertise in literary analysis, examination standards, and helping students understand how to properly interpret and answer Literature questions.
I teach students at secondary school, college, and university levels, including learners preparing for GCE, A-Level, WAEC, NECO, JUPEB, and other English Literature examinations. My lessons are friendly, interactive, and easy to understand.
In my classes, we study poetry, drama, prose, literary criticism, textual analysis, essay writing, themes, figures of speech, and examination techniques. I simplify difficult texts and concepts, encourage critical thinking, and guide students on how examiners assess answers and what makes a strong literary response.
My lessons are available online or one-on-one, depending on the student’s preference. I use discussions, practical examples, revision exercises, and practice questions to help students improve their confidence, analytical skills, and academic performance.
My goal is to make Literature enjoyable, engaging, and easier for every student to understand and succeed in.
