I am a passionate and dedicated private music tutor with over 6 years of experience teaching students across primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions. Throughout my career, I have worked both one-on-one and in classroom settings, teaching music theory, ear training, vocal coaching, and instrumental lessons. I take pride in the fact that my students have excelled not only musically but also academically, which shows how I successfully blend discipline with creativity in my teaching.

Over the last 6 years, I have taught beginners to advanced learners, children and adults. I have prepared students for school performances, recitals, competitions, and examinations. I also have solid experience teaching online. This has taught me how to keep virtual lessons engaging and effective by using audio, video, backing tracks, and other interactive tools to maintain students’ interest and progress.

I am patient, encouraging, and detail-oriented. Students and parents often describe me as loving, caring, and dedicated. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit each individual’s pace while still upholding high standards. I am consistent, reliable, and fully committed to helping students build confidence in their musical abilities.

My teaching method is practical, student-centered, and goal-driven. I believe in starting with a strong foundation in music theory, rhythm, and ear training so that students truly understand what they play and sing. From there, lessons become hands-on. Students learn by doing — playing, singing, and performing from the very first class. For online lessons, I use live demonstrations, recorded feedback, practice tracks, and interactive activities to make learning fun and productive. I also emphasize growth through regular practice plans, progress checks, and mini-performances that help students track their development and perform with confidence.

Ultimately, my goal is simple: to help every student enjoy music, master their craft, and express themselves beautifully.
