If it's content teaching you're looking for, it's great to know what specific topics you'd like to go through ahead of time so I am able to provide you with the best tuition possible. This may come in the form of an assortment of exam questions, or perhaps a "mind map" that helps to connect ideas together. However you feel like learning, I will do my best to accommodate you and your needs.

Of course, there is also the chance for you to bring your own resources so we can discuss them in lesson. These sessions after all are designed to be focusing on what you think you need help with. If it's a homework question you need help with, or a past paper you want to go through, don't be afraid to bring that along as well! Any key information we discuss will be collated all into one place too, often through the use of my digital whiteboard.

The last thing I'd want for these sessions is for them to be seen as anything formal. l don't want to be seen as another teacher from your school. After all, I was in your position not too long ago so I know exactly how it feels to be confused about something that maybe wasn't explained all that well. As your tutor I hope that I'll be able to clear up some of that confusion.

The main thing I want you to take away from my lessons is how to answer exam questions clearly and concisely. It's not enough to understand a concept at GCSE, how you say it is often more important and could mean the difference between finishing with 20 minutes remaining or barely finishing at all!
