Biology and Chemistry

I studied both GCSE and A-Level Biology and Chemistry, achieving Grade 9 and an A respectively. All of my students have improved by at least two grades within just a few months of tuition for example moving from a Grade 5 to a Grade 7.

Having recently completed my own GCSEs and A-Levels, I’m very familiar with the current curriculum and the exam techniques needed for success. I’ve thoroughly analysed examiner reports and understand which topics students commonly find challenging.

While exam technique is vital, a solid understanding of scientific mechanisms is key. That’s why I’ve developed a variety of tailored resources that support different learning styles. I recognise that students don’t all learn the same way - for some, visual or illustrative content is far more effective than written notes especially for complex concepts.

My goal is always to create a supportive, personalised learning environment that helps each student build confidence and achieve the results they’re aiming for.

Maths

I teach both Foundation and Higher GCSE Maths and have experience working with students across a range of abilities. My lessons are interactive and focused on building both understanding and confidence.

I use a whiteboard to break down key concepts visually, and I provide plenty of exam-style questions that we walk through together. This approach helps students not only grasp the method but also learn how to apply it under exam conditions.

My teaching is tailored to each student - where I push every student to achieve the highest grade regardless of where they are at when we first start lessons. I focus on developing strong problem-solving skills and reinforcing key techniques that come up repeatedly in exams.

By working together in a structured and supportive environment, I help students feel more confident in tackling maths and improve their grades steadily.

Medicine Interview Tutor

As a current medical student and someone who achieved all my offers for medical student, I have the experience and knowledge to prepare applicants for their interviews and achieve their offers for their dream schools.

All my students have been given offers for at least 3/4 universities.

Aside from this, I also act as a mentor to help guide applicants through the entire process whether it is choosing the universities or writing the personal statement.
