The following is the procedure of my tutoring:

1. Give a basic explanation of the concept. For example, I can provide a basic definition of integration.
2. Give real-life examples relating to the concept so that students can relate the concept with a better understanding. Here I will provide the physical interpretation of integration. I will provide the explanation why integration is important and it is not just a concept that we read and learn just to qualify the school exams. Integration is more than that. It is used by physicist, mechanical engineers, chemical engineers whenever they do numerical computation.
3. Give some numerical problems to the students so that student can use the concept to solve those problems on his/her own. Here, I will provide the students some problems (may be 10 or 20). By solving the problems on his own, there will be a built-up of confidence in him.
4. Give the student assistance in case the student is unable to solve the problem. If student is not able to solve all of the problems, I will assist.
