Bhavini Jethwa

I am an experienced Computer Science educator and current Head of Computing, with responsibility for curriculum design and delivery across KS2–KS5. I independently develop schemes of work, assessments, and resources, analyse student performance data, and implement targeted interventions to improve outcomes.

Previously, as Second in Department and KS3 Lead, I supported curriculum development, delivered GCSE Computer Science, mentored early career teachers, and led departmental initiatives. I have extensive experience in lesson planning, exam preparation, data analysis, and supporting students both academically and pastorally.

I also have a strong interest in the responsible use of AI in education, including policy development, staff training, and supporting SEND learners through technology.

My approach to tutoring is structured, exam-focused, and data-informed, with clear modelling, scaffolded explanations, and targeted feedback to secure measurable progress.
