Bethan Sage

I hold a degree in Applied Psychology and Criminology and have qualified teacher status. I have a PGCE with training in leading teaching and am currently teaching the AQA specification of Psychology and Sociology. I have taught this specification for the last 6 years. I am also an Examiner for AQA having marked for both Psychology and Sociology for the last three years across multiple papers. This experience provides me with a wealth of knowledge in providing detailed exam skill feedback.

My previous role as a learning support assistant has also equipped me with extensive experience working in a one to one capacity and structuring work to meet the individual needs of students. Furthermore, I have worked in a tutoring capacity for the last 5 years, for both AQA Psychology and Sociology. 100% success rate in terms of my students passing, with many improving by at least 2 grades. I offer tutoring both online and in-person, depending on what works best for your current circumstances.

I adopt an individual approach to tutoring, allowing students to guide the process and work towards their specific needs. I also provide structured work packs and additional resources for students to work from home. Furthermore, I am very flexible and allow students to pick up extra time if they need, or work around busy and sometimes changing schedules.
