A bit about me

I have studied Spanish myself since the age of 14 and studied it at GCSE, A Level & degree level and now have a degree in the language. I also had a year abroad in Spain embedded in my degree in which I taught English in a nursery/primary school.
This enhanced my Spanish language skills from a medium-high competency to feeling very confident when speaking the language and picking up commonly used phrases and witnessing different accents and dialects throughout different areas of Spain as I travelled around in my spare time.

Lesson plans

I try to take different approaches to each lesson and tend to adjust to the individuals style. Furthermore, if I can see that they are strong in certain areas we will spend less time on these and focus on areas in which work needs to be done.

I will use a variety of writing, listening, reading and of course speaking resources/exercises and will carry out vocab tests/grammar sessions too. Also, if there is a certain piece of work that say the school have provided for example that you are struggling with or a certain tense or grammatical style that you find more difficult - we can go through the exercise/subject so that you find it easier to complete said piece of work.

I access my resources through general Spanish wesbites, news pages, grammar and vocabulary books and exercise books that I found to be helpful.
