Beth Ackerson

I will teach online literature and any English texts you may be studying at secondary school or at college! I can teach Shakespeare, poetry and classic literature! I am thoroughly interested in the subject and I can make it fun to learn and I have a good amount of knowledge on literature and I have studied a large number of texts! We will read the texts together and analyse as we go. I can also provide essay writing advice and provide feedback on essays too if this is needed. I have GCSE, A-Level and University undergraduate qualifications in English Literature. I have studied English literature at college as my main subject and also at the University of Chester for 4 years. I am about to graduate this year with a degree in this subject. I also enjoy history so I can provide context to what we study and this was one of my higher graded GCSE subjects, alongside English literature and sociology. I studied English Literature, criminology and sociology at college.

I speak a basic level of German, however I am not yet fluent but I am Learning and teaching myself each day.

I can use excel, word, PowerPoint and teams. I am used to remote work as I have worked in a remote job for 4 years. I have also had experience in face to face jobs, although I have not taught. I am good with people and communication, I aspire to teach English literature and to help others.
