Bernard Golfier is a writer from France. He is a retired doctor (paediatrics) and medical journalist. He has been medical correspondent for more than 30 years. One of his sons is Asperger so he is quite familiar with SEN kids. He is fully bilingual, having moved to London 30 years ago. He was part of a writer’s group in North London and wrote a dozen short stories in English.
He is patient and a good listener and has a personal interest in foreign languages. He studied linguistic in Paris (Jussieu University)
Bernard is entirely bilingual (French/English) including an ability to write stories. He would be keen to offer help in mastering French language through reading articles, short stories, but also cooking and casual conversation. His experience as a fiction writer (in French and English) and as a professional journalist is a plus.
He would be happy to teach French to adults or children as well as support students with their (French) homework.
