As each student is different, each session/lesson is tailored to the learner's needs and goals. Having a background in Philosophy and Metaphysics, I have a pedagogical approach to teaching bridging the gap between what is theoretical and what is practically applicable and achievable within the capabilities of the student.

All lessons are interactive in all its forms.

For the beginner, lessons will be more focused on developing motor skills and muscle memory required for either the guitar or keyboard along with basic prerequisites to playing an instrument: Care for the instrument, Tuning, Melodic recognition, First position triads (chords), basic concepts of harmony and music context e.g. major or minor diatonic chord progressions.

For the intermediate to the experienced, lessons revolve around the practical application of concepts and principles ranging from: listening/ear-training, music appreciation, timbre, dynamics, orchestration, basic gear and technical knowledge e.g. basic equalisation, mixing effects pedals, marketing concepts, basic audio production and improvisation.

I also impart my own experiences where appropriate as concrete examples for the application of each lesson in a given performance scenario.
