Benjamin Watson

I am currently in my first year of an integrated Master's in Physics at the University of Oxford, having studied Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, and Physics at A-Level, receiving an A* in all four subjects. I have previous experience of tutoring in Maths and all three sciences, having done so for 2 years now.

I also have 10 GCSE's, with grade an 8 in English Language, and 9 9's in English Literature, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Spanish, RS, Music, Geography, and I am more than happy to tutor at GCSE level as well.

I also have some experience with tutoring children in primary school as well, especially for SATs, and could also tutor for the 11+ test.

My lessons are quite informal, in the sense that it can be completely up to the student to decide what we work on, or I can go through a subject's syllabus in general. We would cover content for some of the lesson, but I put a lot of important on practising answering questions. We can go through example questions together, involving both student input and my guidance, but also do some independent work to consolidate the learning. However, I am more than happy to help and would never leave a student to struggle by themselves. Again, this is all at the student's discretion, meaning if there is a different learning style you might prefer, I am completely fine adjusting the lesson plan, structure or how I deliver it so that you can learn best.
