Benedicta Ojebowale

Hello! I’m Benedicta, but most call me Dita. I am a Linguistics student at the University of Lagos. I am a native speaker of Yoruba and am fluent in English. My studies mean I can simplify language to help you understand grammatical rules, pronunciation and vocabulary.
I offer friendly, relaxed lessons which centre around you. We’ll discuss your aims and level during our first lesson. Whether you want to become a more confident speaker, improve your writing skills, or learn for work/study purposes, I will tailor a personal learning plan for you and adapt it as you progress.
Lessons usually involve a quick conversation to warm up, before moving on to a specific topic. We’ll look at a particular area of English (such as grammar, vocabulary or pronunciation) and practise speaking. Using real life examples, short activities and clear explanations, I’ll give you constructive and honest feedback throughout the lesson. At the end of each lesson I can provide you with simple notes or practice activities.
I also offer online Korean lessons in small groups and one-to-one. This means I can create a learning plan, keep students motivated and make learning a new language seem achievable. I know how it feels to learn a language in steps and am very patient with all my students.
