With over a decade of experience as both a teacher and professional performer, I’m passionate about helping people discover the joy of music and develop their skills on their instrument. Over the years I’ve worked with students of all ages and backgrounds — from young children taking their very first steps in music, to adults returning to playing after a break, and dedicated amateurs looking to push their playing to the next level. I also enjoy working with students who may not have had much formal training, showing them that it’s never too late to begin or to deepen their understanding of music.
I believe that music should be an enjoyable and rewarding journey for everyone, no matter where they are starting from. Lessons are tailored to each individual, typically lasting between 30 and 60 minutes depending on your level, goals, and schedule. I put a strong emphasis on developing healthy playing habits and musical awareness, so that you can progress with confidence and avoid the frustrations that sometimes come with learning an instrument. Whether you want to build solid technique, improve your confidence, prepare for auditions or exams, or simply play for pleasure, I’ll create a supportive and encouraging environment that allows you to progress at your own pace.
As a teacher, I’m both patient and motivating. I aim to strike the balance between nurturing your love of music and challenging you to achieve your best. My goal is to help every student grow not only in skill, but also in confidence and musical expression, so that making music becomes a fulfilling part of your life. I firmly believe that learning an instrument can open doors to creativity, self-expression, and even community, since music often brings people together in a way that few other activities can.
