We will discuss any difficult topics and I will produce an explanation from scratch which works for you. When we have established a basic level of understanding, we will begin to work through questions which target your weak areas. We will slowly build confidence until we can tackle all manner of questions which appear and begin to link these to other closely related topics.

I have a tablet which will allow me to share my screen and show in real time the best way to get started on those tricky problems which can be the most intimidating sort. This level of communication can make the most difficult questions seem much easier to get started on. The majority of the session will be spent ensuring that you feel confident enough to tackle any question and any future sessions will include short refreshers to ensure this knowledge is retained and stays fresh in the mind.

I have extensive experience tutoring both A-level and Undergraduate level mathematics and as such I am more than willing to accept a student at any ability- we will build up confidence and experience both through hands on problem solving and discussion based parts of the session, where I will ensure that there are no misunderstandings about the material. If there are particular areas you are struggling with, I will be more than happy to address these, but I am also happy to prepare material to test any student across the board, so that you feel exam ready.
