As a sixth former I spent my Saturdays tutoring classes of GCSE students in both Mathematics and Chemistry. These lessons included going over basic foundations of each subject using PowerPoints for whole classes, followed by a more one-to-one teaching style where I could personally address specific topics and problems for each student. Typically I would go over exam/revision techniques that helped me during my time in education and offer a completely different way of learning to each student. The lessons would be planned after a brief introduction to the student. I believe that everyone learns in very different ways and if someone happens to struggle with any area of a subject then all they need is a different outlet of learning.
